We are happy to let you know that we once again have an excellent staff who are very excited to spend the summer with you and your family. Mary Lou Simeone will be working with the senior campers for her third summer. During the school year, Mary Lou works in the RCC school age program. Mary Lou has a masterís degree from Duquesne University in Elementary Education.
Kerry Parker, an RCC veteran since 1995, will be joining Mary Lou with the senior campers. During the school year, Kerry is a teacher in the Pre-K classroom at Verner Elementary. Kerry holds a bachelorís degree in Child and Family Studies from Seton Hill College.
In addition to Kerry and Mary Lou, Patrick Murray and Nikki Lucas will also be returning to senior camp for their second summer. Pat is a senior at Clarion University majoring in Elementary Education and Nikki graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelorís degree in Elementary Education.
Mini camp also will have many familiar faces. Katelyn Risher will be entering her 2nd summer as a counselor. Katelyn works at RCC year round in the school age program and as a floater/ substitute in RCCís early childhood program. Katelyn is currently pursuing an associateís degree in Early Childhood at CCAC.
Jen Prevost loves those toddlers but, is excited to be leaving the diapers behind as she moves from the toddler room to mini camp for her second summer. Jen graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelorís degree in Early Childhood and recently earned her Early Childhood Certification from Carlow University.
For a sixth summer, Melissa Panza will be joining the mini camp staff. Melissa is pursuing her masterís degree at Duquesne University and is currently a first grade teacher in the Peters Township School District.
Rounding out the mini camp staff is Stephanie Stitt who is returning for her second summer at RCC. Stephanie, along with Katelyn, are RCC alumni who are happy to be back with us! Stephanie is currently at a student at CCAC.
Leah Lisowski is RCCís School Age Coordinator. She graduated from Clarion University with a bachelorís degree in Communication and will earn an associateís degree in Early Childhood Education this May from Northampton Community College. This summer will mark her seventh in summer camp.
